1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using 1gm ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
1gm is a weight management companion app that provides: • Daily meal suggestions based on your profile • Weight tracking and BMI calculation • Personalised wellness nudges and tips • AI-generated meal plans tailored to your dietary preferences The App is designed for general wellness purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Medical Disclaimer
1gm provides general wellness suggestions, NOT medical advice. • Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary or exercise changes. • Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in the App. • If you have a medical condition (including but not limited to diabetes, heart disease, eating disorders, or pregnancy complications), consult your doctor before using the App. • The App's BMI calculations, calorie estimates, and meal suggestions are approximations. Individual nutritional needs vary.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for: • Providing accurate and complete information during sign-up and onboarding. • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • All activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Content
Any data you enter into the App (weight entries, meal preferences, profile information) remains your content. You grant us a limited license to use this data solely for providing and improving the App's services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Use the App for any unlawful purpose. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App's systems or data. • Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation. • Upload malicious code or attempt to reverse-engineer the App. • Use the App in any way that could harm other users.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by 1gm and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Supabase (authentication and database) and Google/Apple (OAuth sign-in). We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: • 1gm is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App. • We make no guarantees about the accuracy of meal suggestions, calorie estimates, or weight management advice. • We are not responsible for any health issues arising from following the App's suggestions without professional medical consultation.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
